PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of improving quality of a projected image.SOLUTION: A projector 100 comprises: a light source 10 having a plurality of light emitting parts 12; an optical modulation device having a reflection part that reflects light from the light source 10 according to image information; and a projection lens that projects an image formed at the optical modulation device. The light from the light source 10 enters obliquely to the reflection part. The light source 10 includes: a first area 10a in which a plurality of light emitting parts 12 are arranged in a first density; and a second area 10b in which a plurality of light emitting parts 12 are arranged in a second density higher than the first density. A distance from the first area 10a to the reflection part 42 is smaller than a distance from the second area 10b to the reflection part 42. |
