PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a converter which can converge a system to a target state in a short time.SOLUTION: A controller 100 generates control signals Su, Sv, Sw for controlling a converter, on the basis of the current detection values Iu, Iv, Iw of U phase, V phase, and W phase. A filter 30 of a phase lag element gives a phase lag &phgr; to the current detection values Iu, Iv, Iw of U phase, V phase, and W phase. A uvw/dq coordinate converter 32 converts the current detection values Iu, Iv, Iw passed through the filter 30 from the uvw coordinate system to the dq coordinate system, and generates a d-axis current value Id and a q-axis current value Iq. An operation unit 40 generates a d-axis voltage command value Vd and a q-axis voltage command value Vq. A phase compensation unit superimposes a phase compensation amount Vc on the q-axis voltage command value Vq, thus generating a compensated q-axis voltage command value Vq*. |
