PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable heating device that detects no-water burning precisely and prevents smoking and ignition reliably.SOLUTION: A heating device includes: a heater (2) having a heat-generating section (6) that is supplied with power to generate heat; a casing (4) that houses the heat-generating section (6) and defines a heating medium passage (18) with the heat-generating section (6); temperature detection means (26) that, in the passage (18), detects internal temperature (T) of the casing (4) based on the heat of a heating medium and the heat-generating section (6); and power supply control means (40) that turns on/off power to the heater (2) depending on the internal temperature (T) as detected by the temperature detection means (26). When the internal temperature (T) as detected by the temperature detection means (26) is equal to or more than a predetermined first threshold value (TS1), the power supply control means (40) turns off power to the heater (2), and renders the heater (2) in a power supply standby state. When the internal temperature (T) as detected in the power supply standby state is equal to or more than a predetermined second threshold value (TS2), the heater (2) is continuously turned off and rendered in a complete power supply stop state. |
