PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interconnector material for a solar cell, which is capable of effectively preventing deformation and damage of a silicon crystal wafer (crystal Si) during joining and is excellent in windability around a bobbin and a reel, and to provide an interconnector for a solar cell.SOLUTION: The interconnector material for a solar cell has, on a surface of an Al base material 10 having a tensile strength of 81-100 N/mm, an Ni plating layer 20 and an Sn plating layer 30 in order from the base material side.
