PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting system capable of acquiring proper production history information, and securing required traceability even when a component mounting operation is executed to a substrate to which substrate identification information is not provided, and a method for generating production history information in the electronic component mounting system.SOLUTION: Bar code data 22 specifying a substrate is read from a bar code formed on the substrate in advance by a bar code reader, and designated as a substrate ID 20A. For a substrate for which the bar code is not formed, timing data 23 constituted to include date information at least when it is inputted to a component mounting line, and used as alternative information of the bar code data 22 is generated by an alternative identification information generation section and designated as a substrate ID 20B. The production history information corresponding to production material identification information specifying a production material used for an operation for mounting components to the substrate 6 corresponding to the substrate IDs 20A, 20B is generated and stored. |
