PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a layout on a two-dimensional plane where a plurality of images are arranged at appropriate positions.SOLUTION: Upon input of an instruction for creating a layout, an image processing apparatus acquires pieces of operation information such as information on a trimming range during trimming, and information relating to an operation of a camera during photographing by the camera. The image processing apparatus then determines relative positions between images from the pieces of operation information, and creates a layout by arranging the images at the determined relative positions, so as to create a layout that has a position relationship exactly as a photographer has experienced, and gives no sense of discomfort to the photographer. |
