The arrangement has a driven shaft (14) indirectly connected with an internal combustion engine over a crankshaft. A drive shaft (22) and the driven shaft form a magnet gear box (30). An expansion machine (20) serves an element of a closed circuit into a working medium i.e. water. A partition wall is provided between the drive shaft and the driven shaft by protecting the working medium of the closed circuit from contamination. The gear box is designed as a magnetic worm gear. The drive shaft is designed as a spindle and the driven shaft is designed as a spindle wheel. The partition wall is designed as a closed cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an arrangement for power transmission of an expansion machine.
