The rivet sleeve (1) has a mandrel hole (2) for receiving a mandrel, particularly a threaded mandrel, where an outer circumference (3) of the rivet sleeve has an oval, cam- or elliptical cross-section in sectional manner. The rivet sleeve is a blind rivet with a die head (4) and a shaft (5), where the mandrel hole runs by the die head and by the shaft in a sectional manner and has an internal thread in the area of the shaft. An independent claim is included for a blind rivet bolt with a locking ring.
