A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to reduce fabricating cost and processing time by repairing a portion region of a pixel electrode without reworking. A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display device includes: preparing a substrate which a thin transistor is formed; forming a pixel electrode on the substrate; detecting error area caused by a foreign substance on the substrate; and etching the error area. The method of fabricating the liquid crystal display device further includes: forming the gate line and the data line which defines the pixel vertically and horizontally on the transparent substrate; and forming the thin transistor at the intersection point between the gate line and the data line. The liquid crystal display device(100) includes a thin transistor substrate, a color filter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer(130). |
