摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery achieving both suppression of gelation of positive electrode mixture slurry and insurance of adhesion to a collector.SOLUTION: A positive electrode includes a collector, and a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material composed of a lithium layer composite oxide represented by LiNiMnCoO(in the formula, 1.0&le;x&le;1.2, y+z<1, and y&ge;z, y&ge;0.45) or LiNiO(in the formula, 1.0&le;x&le;1.2, y&le;1.0), a conductive material and a binder provided on the collector. The binder contains polyvinylidene fluoride, and a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and chlorotrifluoro ethylene. The ratio of copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and chlorotrifluoro ethylene is 5-30 wt% relative to the total amount of polyvinylidene fluoride and the copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and chlorotrifluoro ethylene.
