<p>The invention relates to drives with reciprocally moving foot levers and can be used in bicycles, velomobiles, catamarans etc. The drive for pedal-operated vehicles comprises a pedal spindle, on which are mounted mechanisms for the one-sided transmission of a movement and a drive sprocket, which interacts with a driven sprocket via a continuous flexible working element. Cranks with pedals are fixed to the mechanism bodies. In addition, a reversing and synchronizing shaft with transmission units is additionally mounted, wherein the transmission units used can be sprockets or pulleys. The cranks interact with one another by means of an additional flexible element, which is fixedly connected on one side to a transmission unit of the reversing and synchronizing shaft and is rigidly connected on the other side to the body of a corresponding mechanism of the one-sided movement transmission. The additional flexible element is capable of interacting with at least one adjusting roller. The cranks are equipped with cranking prevention means for the cranks in the form of an additional freewheeling clutch with a blocked housing, or in the form of a limiter. Additionally, the cranks can be spring-loaded. The technical result consists in reducing, in regulated fashion, the muscle power on pedals, eliminating dead centres, and increasing reliability and convenience in use.</p> |
