Provided is a method for filtering an application program capable of preventing attacks of abusing permission approved by a user by subdividing the permission of the application program installed in a portable terminal having an operating system. The method for filtering the application program comprises a step for displaying the permission required for the execution of the application program; a step for receiving the input for an installation request of the application program from the user; and a step for installing the application program in the portable terminal. The permission comprises at least one of internet permission and log permission. The present invention is provided to minimally reduce the installation of a malicious program of abusing the permission approved by the user.
