PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably remove paper dust at a document reading position in a document reading apparatus.SOLUTION: In a document reading apparatus 1, a cleaning member 191 of a cleaning roller 190 is in contact with a front end of a document conveyed on a platen glass 211 on an upstream side rather than a document reading position of a reading unit 1B. Then, the cleaning roller 190 further rotates in an arrow Rr direction, thereby sweeping paper dust D on the platen glass 211 together to a downstream side rather than the reading position on the platen glass 211. |
