PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which is compact in an entire optical system and has a high zoom ratio and a wide angle of view, and further which achieves high optical performance over an entire zoom range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, a third lens group having positive refractive power, and a rear group including one or more lens groups. A gap between respective lens groups changes when performing zooming, the rear group has a final lens group having the positive refractive power on the side closest to an image, at least the first lens group and the final lens group are moved when performing the zooming, and a focal length fT of the entire system at the telephoto end, a back focus TBk at the telephoto end, and the focal length f2 of the second lens group are appropriately set, respectively. |
