PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition effective for synucleinopathy and a screening method for the active ingredients thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treatment and/or prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, the composition containing an adiponectin receptor agonist and/or a compound inducing the agonist as active ingredients. The adiponectin receptor agonist and/or the compound inducing the agonist may be at least one selected from a group consisting of: adiponectin protein; globular adiponectin protein; a compound inducing expression of adiponectin protein; and a compound inducing expression of globular adiponectin protein.
