PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance capable of reducing an average film resistance in a transparent conductive film included in an EL element.SOLUTION: A plurality of EL elements each having an electrode, a transparent conductive film, and an EL layer sandwiched between the electrode and the transparent conductive film, are provided. A metal film having a light-shielding property is provided so as to be contacted with the transparent conductive film included in the EL element and so as to be overlapped with an edge of the electrode included in the EL element and a clearance between adjacent electrodes. Thereby, an average film resistance in the transparent conductive film included in the EL element can be reduced. In addition, light emission can be performed at a desired luminance or chromaticity. |
