<p>This device is equipped with a DMD (digital mirror device) that, by controlling contrast in light generated by a headlight light source used for illuminating an area ahead of a vehicle, displays an icon inside the illuminated area. In addition, the device is equipped with an in-cabin camera for obtaining a position of driver's line of sight. At a display control unit, the shape of the icon to be displayed by the DMD is controlled according to the difference between a reflection position of reflected light that is generated by the DMD and the position of driver's line of sight that is obtained by the in-cabin camera such that the icon has an undistorted shape when viewed from the driver's line of sight.</p> |
