The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for handling in-device coexistence interference in a wireless communication environment. In the embodiment, the method comprises the following steps of: detecting in-device coexistence interference between an LTE module and an ISM module in a user terminal; identifying HARQ processes corresponding to the subframes in a set of subframes which is allocated to the LTE module affected by the ISM module operation; reserving the remaining subframes and corresponding HARQ processes in the set of subframes for the LTE module operation; indicating, to a base station, that the remaining and the corresponding HARQ processes are reserved for the LTE module in order to resolve the in-device coexistence interference; and receiving, from the base station based on the indication, a scheduling pattern which indicates the subframes and corresponding HARQ processes which are reserved for the LTE operation or derived DRX parameters.
