<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic wind instrument having the same operation feeling as that of a natural wind instrument while reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An operator 20 for specifying a pitch is arranged in a tube 10 of a wind instrument. The operator 20 moves from a position PA1 to a position PA2 according to operation by a user. A detector body 30 includes a moving section 34 which moves interlocking with the operator 20, a terminal 36A and a terminal 36B.
