<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing electric power consumption by a small-scaled facility, in an entrance and exit management system. <P>SOLUTION: The entrance and exit management system includes an entrance authentication device for acquiring information of user authentication for entering into a control area; an exit authentication device constituted to conduct switching between a sleep state of stopping electric power supply to one part of devices excepting devices required for restart-up in response to a request from an outside; and a normal state of supplying electric power to all the devices, and for acquiring information of user authentication for going out from the control area, in the normal state; and a management server for requesting transition from the usual state to the sleep state to the exit authentication device, when all the users become absent in the control area, and of requesting transition from the sleep state to the normal state to the exit authentication device, when the first user enters the control area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
