The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which includes: a liquid crystal panel; a light guide plate on the lower side of the liquid crystal panel; and an LED assembly which is formed on at least one side of the light guide plate and includes a plurality of LED packages separately mounted on an LED FPCB which overlaps the upper surface of the light guide plate and includes a reflective layer. Each LED package includes an LED chip and a housing which surrounds the LED chip. A reflective plate and the reflective layer on the LED FPCB are used as reflectors by removing partitions on a first side and a third side to face the reflective layer and the LED FPCB among four sides of the LED housing.
