A display device includes a display panel, a panel driving unit, a light source unit, and a light source driving unit. The display panel includes a first subpixel with a first main color, a second subpixel with a second main color, and a transparent subpixel. The panel driving unit sets the gradation data of the first subpixel, the second subpixel, and the transparent subpixel. The light source unit emits light to the display panel and includes a first light source which emits the light with the mixed color of the first and second main colors and a second light source which emits the light with a third main color. The light source unit alternately turns on the first light source and the second light source. |
