PURPOSE: A piezo actuator and a touch screen using the same are provided to vibrate a touch screen panel in the lateral direction using a piezoelectric device arranged in the orthogonal direction in the touch screen panel. CONSTITUTION: A piezo actuator(200) comprises a piezoelectric device(210), a mass(230), a vib-plate(250), and a flexible printed circuit board(270). The piezoelectric device is arranged in the orthogonal direction in a touch screen panel(100) to vibrate the touch screen panel in the lateral direction. The mass has a configuration of affecting the vibration force of the piezo actuator and is arranged in the orthogonal direction in the piezoelectric device. The vib-plate has two horizontal parts facing each other and a vertical part connected to the ends of the horizontal parts in the orthogonal direction. The flexible printed circuit board is connected to one side of the piezoelectric device. |
