The circuitry has a circuit main portion that includes several generator circuits (1) for producing output control signals (PULSE-OUT). A phase-only memory (4) is provided in generator circuit for storing phase value indicating phase shift of output control signals. An activation input (6) is enabled to output activation level of generator circuit for starting generation of control signals according to phase value. The activation input of the generator circuit is jointly connected to an activation circuit for the simultaneous output of activation levels of generator circuits. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for generating periodic control signals for microscope; (2) microscope; and (3) method for controlling microscope.
