The present invention relates to a subminiature and self-supporting iris recognition module and is possible to independently verify and generate an iris template without the help of other equipment by just comprising a camera and a board. Composed is the subminiature and self-supporting iris recognition module comprising: a camera (4) obtaining the iris image of a user; a mobile SDRAM (3) including various programs for authenticating the user through an iris recognition method and generating the iris template with the iris image; a flash memory (2) storing the iris template of the user having a just right; and a center processing device (1) authenticating the user by comparing the iris template composed of the iris image of the user obtained by the camera (4) and the iris template of the user having the just right registered in the flash memory (2) and by making the iris template by receiving the iris image from the camera (4) with the program installed in the SDRAM (3) and the flash memory (2) in which the iris template of the user having the just right.
