The present invention relates to an online game providing method. Given in the example of the present invention, the online game providing method is able to connect at least one game client at the same time through a network and links at least one character which is controlled by the connected game client(s) to a virtual space where certain virtual resources are placed to run a online game in a game server. The online game providing method includes step (a) for acquiring data about virtual resources placed within a certain distance from the corresponding character for each character and generating player character (PC) resource data; step (b) for combining at least one set of the generated PC resource data and generating integrated resource data about at least part of the virtual resources placed in the virtual space; and step (c) for providing at least part of the generated integrated resource data upon a request from a game client at a cost and processing payment about at least one character for which PC resource data related to the part of the generated integrated resource data. According to the present invention, by enabling the generation and the sales of resource data following the movement of a character in an online game which is provided based on a virtual space including virtual resources, the transaction of data itself is available and the collection of resource from a user perspective becomes efficient.
