<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit device capable of operating multiple mounted circuits without exceeding permissible electric power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: Consumption currents of a plurality of drive circuits A-E mounted in an ASIC 1 and capable of operating in parallel to one another are respectively investigated in advance. A consumption current permitted in the entire ASIC 1 from permissible loss or the like related to a package is investigated in advance. When operation commands of the drive circuits A-E are given to the ASIC 1 from a microcomputer 51, a control circuit 10 determines whether or not the drive circuits A-E related to the operation commands can be operated based on: the consumption currents of the respective drive circuits A-E; the total permissible consumption current; and operation conditions of the respective drive circuits A-E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
