Advantageous retaining devices (HV) are proposed for securing a spare wheel (ER1, ER2) on a utility vehicle chassis (LTL, LTR). In an advantageous arrangement, two spare wheels can be individually fastened next to one another on one of two longitudinal supports, perpendicular to the direction of travel, by means of one respective retaining device.
