<p>The invention relates to a continuous belt drive (1) comprising a wrapping means (4), at least one drive traction pulley (2) and one driven traction pulley (3), wherein at least one traction pulley (2, 3) is oval-shaped. According to said invention, the oscillation characteristics of the wrapping element (4) and, thereby these of the continuous belt drive (1) are advantageously influenced by the selection of a defined angle of wrap (a) and by a constant contact length of the wrapping element (4) on at least one oval-shaped traction pulley (2, 3). Said angle of wrap (a) and the length of contact on the oval-shaped traction pulley (2, 3) are adjusted in such a way that they exhibit substantially constant values independently of the rotation position of the traction pulley (2, 3).</p> |
