<p>PURPOSE: A monitoring system for sudden acceleration is provided to help investigate a sudden acceleration accident by storing and displaying the data with respect to the operation of an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal in real-time. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring system(100) comprises a brake sensing unit(110), a MICOM(MicroComputer)(115), and a database(117). The brake sensing unit transmits a signal by sensing the operation of a brake pedal in a vehicle. The MICOM is programmed for storing the data for brake operation through the signal. The database stores the data with respect to the operation of the brake pedal delivered from the MICOM.
