The prosthetic joint (1) has an upper portion (2) and a lower portion (3), which are arranged so that the prosthesis joint is conjugated by rotating the upper portion relative to the lower portion. A locking element (4) is transferred between a release position and a locking position, so that the prosthetic joint is fixed in a predetermined diffraction state by clamping the locking element in a locking position. The fixation of the prosthetic joint is revered by moving the locking element in the release position. A locking lever (5) is displaced by an actuating unit (6).
