<p>The method involves transporting fuel (10) through a conveyor device (12). A conveying element (41) is provided with a screw conveyor. A motor (40) is configured for driving the conveying element from a reservoir (9) for the fuel into a combustion chamber (2) of a heater (1) is transported. A current consumption of the motor for driving the conveying element is monitored and an increase of the motor current is measured. The determination of increased motor current acoustic, visual and technical information is configured to alert an operator or user.</p> |
