The present invention relates to a treating method of gas including 10 ppm or 0.5 vol% of a COS compound and one or more of CS2, 30 ppm or 5 vol% of an unsaturated hydrocarbon compound. The method comprises a step of conducting hydrogenation of an unsaturated organic compound to paraffin by making the gas touch a hydrogenation catalyst at 100-400 under the presence of hydrogen in order to provide gas effluence with unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds reduced (The hydrogenation catalyst includes one or more metals selected from palladium, platinum, nickel, and cobalt); and a step of conducting a catalytic hydrolysis of COS and/or CO2 remaining in the gas effluence by making the gas effluence touch a hydrolysis catalyst under the presence of water in order to provide gas effluence with sufficient H2S (the hydrolysis catalyst includes alumina or titanium oxide). |
