PURPOSE: A high speed casting method using the melting mold flux is provided to thickly secure the thickness of slag layer, to prevent the solidification cell break, and to produce a slab with excellent physical property. CONSTITUTION: A continuous casting method performs the following steps. A smelting slag layer is formed by injecting the melt of mold flux, which includes the crystallization ratio of 20 to 40% and the basicity of 1.3 to 1.5, into a mold. The oxide heat insulating layer is formed on the top of the smelting slag layer by injecting the porous oxide heat insulating material (140), which has diameter of 2 to 10 mm, into a mold. The oxide heat insulating material has the specific gravity of 2.4 to 2.8g/cm^3. The oxide heat insulating material has a form that silicone carbide (SiC) surrounds the calcium oxide-silicone oxide (CaO-SiO2) base porous particle. The CaO-SiO2 base porous particle is selected from a group consisting of 2CaO.SiO2 and 3CaO.SiO2. |
