A light has at least two centrally, symmetrically arranged florescent lamps (2,3) and light exit surfaces provided in the support housing parts. A supporting hollow profile (1) is arranged centrally between the end parts (5) and has inner lying receptacle space and outer lying reflection surfaces for two parallel-extending florescent lamps (2,3). The components positioned in the central carrier profile (1) continually decrease the maximum height of the lamp in the direction of the edges of the light, by approximately the thickness of the components forming the room-facing light exit surface. |
