The present invention provides an element forming apparatus for a slide fastener and an element for a slide fastener. The element forming apparatus is equipped with a cutting die, a forming die, a cutting punch arranged to be slidable and to be contacted to the upper surface of the cutting die; and a forming punch lifted in collaboration with the forming die. The cutting punch comprises a main body having a first blade part cutting a wire material in collaboration with the blade part of the cutting die. The main body has a sliding movement unit installed on the side faced with the cutting die by being extended from the main body. The sliding movement unit has a second blade part for forming a concavo part on a part of the wire material. The first blade unit has a first blade surface having a shape corresponding to the part becoming the head part of the element. The second blade part has a second blade surface having a flat inclined surface formed to have the length of the blade, which is protruded from top to bottom, to become shortened. |
