The present invention relates to a connector assembly. The present invention comprises a first connector (10), a second connector (20), a lever (25), and a safety plate (30). Separation and combination of the first connector (10) and the second connector (20) are performed by a lever (25). The safety plate (30) is installed between a temporary combination position and a final combination position to be able to move in a combination space (12’) of the first connector (10). The safety plate (10) is formed by a sidewall (35) protruding in both side ends of a plate body (32). A hanging hook (42) is formed in an edge of the plate body (32) where the sidewall (35) is not formed. A stopper hanging plate (37) is installed in the sidewall (35) to be able to be elastically deformed. The stopper hanging plate (37) prevents the safety plate (30) from escaping from the first connector (10) by being hung on a stopper (14) protruding in an internal surface of the combination space (12'). In the present invention, the safety plate (30) moves its position depending on combination or separation of a different connector, which gives advantages of certainly protecting a terminal and enhancing a motion characteristic by simplifying the constitution of the connector assembly by preparing the sidewall (35) therein. |
