The present invention relates to a photocatalytic coating composition and a brake disc with a photocatalytic coating layer containing the same. When a coating layer containing the photocatalytic coating composition comprising an epoxy resin, an urethane resin, carbon black, talc, a titanium dioxide/zinc powder mixture and propanol is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, photoelectrons are emitted from titanium dioxide. The corrosion of materials is prevented through a cathodic protection effect by the emitted phoroelectrons and the visual aesthetic is maintained, thereby improving the marketability of the brake disc. |
