The present invention relates to an online game providing method. Given in the example of the present invention, the online game providing method is able to connect multiple game clients at the same time through a network and provides an online game including community content for the connected game clients. The online game providing method includes step (a) for creating at least one community by linking at least part of the multiple game clients; step (b) for generating or updating the community information based on the activities by the community or by at least one game client which belongs to the community; and step (c) for generating a signature map of the online game and mapping the community to the map using the community information. In the present invention, by providing a communify interface where in the signature map, in which the world view of the game is reflected, of an online game, separate areas are assigned for each community based on the community information, community information is conveniently and intuitively provided through the game interface, user interests into the game are increased, and the convenience in using the user interface is enhanced.
