<p>The method involves determining a speed-dependent variable (n) for detecting imbalance over a predetermined time period (t). A phase angle of fluctuation of the variable is determined over the predetermined time period. The imbalance is concluded from a time course of the phase angle on the variable. The rotation speed of a rotatably arranged drum of a laundry treatment apparatus is controlled by a control device. The drum is accelerated on high speed when the detected imbalance falls below a critical value. An independent claim is also included for a laundry treatment apparatus comprising a rotatably arranged drum for receiving a laundry to be treated, and an automatic device.</p> |
