PURPOSE: A character input device of a terminal and a method thereof are provided to display an expansion key set with a pop-up window including characters which can be inputted about an inputted key in order to easily input characters. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(810) displays a basic key set and an expansion key set. The basic key set includes predetermined consonant keys. The expansion key set includes character keys. The character keys include characters combinable with consonant corresponding to one inputted consonant key. A control unit(850) performs controlling to display the expansion key set to the inputted consonant key. |
