<p>The invention relates to visual processing and simulation based on interactive rendering. In particular, a method for rendering of data in an interactive environment is defined, comprising the steps of retrieving a plurality of data elements, each data element comprising values indicative of characteristics of at least one entity, receiving an indication of a level of detail for rendering of the plurality of data elements, generating a visual container representing the characteristics of the at least one entity, aggregating at least some of the data elements within the visual container in response to the indication of the level of detail, and rendering the visual container in the interactive environment.
