FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing pressure in a suspension removed from a mixing tank on at least one subsequent step with evaporation of at least a portion of water and lowering temperature, cooling the formed steam through direct contact with water and condensation thereof. The suspension from one pressure reduction step is fed to the next pressure reduction step. The condensate formed at the next pressure reduction step and/or the condensate formed at the first pressure reduction step is fed into the mixing tank. The apparatus has multiple series-connected washing towers (7a-7d) for reducing pressure with connecting pipes of corresponding suspension settling tanks (8a-8d) and condensate drain pipes (10a-10d) passing from the next washing tower to the previous washing tower and/or to the mixing tank.EFFECT: optimum use of heat content and amount of water for cooling and condensation.12 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
