The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of active carbon for electrode, using cokes, and a manufacturing method of an active carbon composition for electrode. Provided are a manufacturing method of active carbon for electrode, using cokes, and a manufacturing method of an active carbon composition comprising the same, comprising the steps of: carbonizing the cokes at 400-800; pulverizing the carbonized cokes; mixing the pulverized cokes with an activating agent then activating it by heating at 400-1200; washing and drying the activated cokes active carbon; and thermal processing the washed and dried cokes active carbon at 630-730. According to the present invention, by taking the cokes as the raw material, active carbon for electrode having excellent resistance property and capacitance can be manufactured.
