PURPOSE: A system and method for steam power generation using a centrifugal compressor are provided to feed high temperature and high pressure water vapor required for operating a steam turbine and to directly use the water vapor in power generation. CONSTITUTION: A system for steam power generation using a centrifugal compressor a steam turbine (10) for power generation, a water vapor separator (20), and a steam compressor (40). The water vapor separator is connected to the steam turbine, collects water vapor from a process for generating power with the steam turbine, and then separates the water vapor into condensed water and steam. The steam compressor adiabatically compresses the separated steam, and feeds the steam to the steam turbine. |
