The present invention relates to a current collector for a battery, and the current collector for a battery comprises: a base material; an adhesive layer positioned on the base material; and a metal mesh layer positioned on the adhesive layer, in which the metal mesh layer is composed of a plurality of metal mesh patterns and holes positioned between the metal mesh patterns. An active material is coated on the metal mesh layer through the holes of the metal mesh layer so that a contact area between the metal mesh layer and the active material is increased to improve cycle lifespan property of the battery by suppressing the separation of the active material from the current collector.
