The present invention relates to a vehicular seat cushion which comprises a filler (40) made of polyurethane foam or expanded polypropylene and an outer cover (10) made of fabric or leather. The outer cover comprises an outer layer (11) and a lining layer (12). The fastener tape fastens the filler to the outer cover. The vehicular seat cushion is manufactured without exposing the stitches of a fastener tape (30) to the outside and without excessively curving the overlapping part of the outer covers while the outer covers are being sewed. As such, the fastener tape is sewed on the lining layer without being directly sewed on to the outer cover; the lining layer and the outer layer are laminated on each other; and the outer cover and the fastener tape are integrated with each other. Through the present invention, unnecessary stitch formations in the uneven part of the vehicular seat cushion are prevented; excessive curvature formations on the surface of the vehicular seat cushion due to the overlapping of the sewing areas are prevented; and the appearance of the vehicular seat cushion is improved. Also, defects due to a breakage in the stitches are prevented; a sewing process for the outer cover is simplified; and the manufacturing costs are lowered. |
