The present invention relates to a storage tank for all kinds of liquid chemicals using a synthetic lining (12) on the inner surface of the wall (11) of an airtight container. The present invention enables users to check the condition of the lining (12) by piercing an intake hole (20) which connects the lining (12) attaching surface of the storage tank to the outside; connecting a detection part (32) such as a vacuum gauge and a gas gauge to the intake hole (20) through the wall (11) of the storage tank; and connecting a vacuum pump (33) to the detection part (32). According to the present invention, users are able to simply and accurately check the airtightness of the inner lining (12) of the storage tank when a chemical storage tank is initially manufactured or is in use; the performance of the storage tank lining (12) is constantly checked without removing loads from the inside of the tank; and the corrosion of the tank and chemical leakages from the tank are fundamentally prevented. |
