The present invention relates to an external use skin composition containing a Cannabis sativa L. extract and, more specifically, to a composition with skin whitening effects, containing a Cannabis sativa L. extract. More preferably, the external use composition by the present invention contains a Cannabis sativa L. root extract or a Cannabis sativa L. seed coat extract as an active ingredient.
