PURPOSE: A grinding method of a work roller for a rolling mill is provided to improve the surface roughness and to prevent the vibration of a work roller by decreasing the mechanical clearance between work rollers and other components by closely contacting work rollers through a backup roller during a grinding operation. CONSTITUTION: A grinding method of a work roller for a rolling mill is as follows. The work rollers(30) closely contact to each other. Power is provided to the work rollers to operate the work rollers. A grinding machine(70) is contacted with the work rollers to perform a grinding operation. |
